Pearl Industry Network Names Erika Icon to Board

Edmonton, Alberta — February 20, 2026 — Pearl Industry Network (PiN), the professional association built to advance legitimacy, safety, and real infrastructure for adult creators and trusted allies, today announced the appointment of Erika Icon to its Board of Directors. 

Erika Icon is the founder of The Rub PR, an award-recognized communications firm known for helping adult creators and adult-industry businesses secure mainstream-ready visibility, platform credibility, and long-term brand integrity. Her appointment reinforces PiN’s commitment to governance that is creator-led, standards-driven, and built for real-world outcomes—not optics. 

PiN’s board structure is intentionally designed to keep creators in the majority while integrating trusted industry partners who share the association’s core values. As a working governance body, the Board helps shape member protections, privacy and anonymity safeguards, transparency practices, and industry advocacy priorities.
