Safety, Respect, and Professionalism for All Members

Code of Conduct & Community Guidelines – Pearl Industry Network (PiN)

Effective Date: September 06, 2025

Last Updated: September 23, 2025

Purpose: These Guidelines set the behavioral standards for everyone using PiN — creators, trusted industry allies, and partners (collectively, “Members”). We are a safety‑first, vetted community. These standards support that mission across all features (directories, messaging, collaboration tools, referrals, events, and partnerships).

Scope: Applies to on‑platform activity and, where necessary to protect Members, off‑platform interactions that originate on PiN (e.g., collaborations arranged through our directory or messaging).

Relationship to Terms: These Guidelines are incorporated into the Terms of Service (ToS). Violations may result in actions described in the Enforcement Matrix below and the ToS (including Board‑level final decisions).

1) Core Values

  • Safety Above All – We prioritize member safety and swift action on credible risks.
  • Consent, Clarity, and Respect – Explicit, informed consent is mandatory for all collaborations and communications.
  • Professionalism – Treat PiN as a professional environment; maintain integrity and confidentiality.
  • Creator‑Led, Ally‑Supported – Allies are here to enable creators, never to exploit them.
  • Privacy by Default – Share only what you’re comfortable making visible to other Members; safeguard others’ information.

2) Member Eligibility & Identity

  • 18+ Only: You must be at least 18 or the age of majority where you live (whichever is higher). No minors, no ambiguity.
  • Identity & Re‑Verification: You agree to vetting and re‑verification to preserve a safe community. Refusal may limit or end access.
  • Aliases Allowed, Deception Not: Pseudonyms are fine; impersonation or misrepresenting qualifications is not.

Examples

  • ✅ Creator uses a stage name but verifies age/identity with PiN.
  • ❌ Ally claims to be a licensed CPA without credentials.

3) Prohibited Content & Conduct (Non‑Exhaustive)

3.1 Safety & Exploitation

  • Any sexual content involving minors or those depicted as minors.
  • Non‑consensual acts, coercion, stealthing, spiking, or exploitation.
  • Sex trafficking or facilitation; solicitation of sexual services where prohibited by law.
  • Doxxing, stalking, threats, intimidation, blackmail, or extortion.

3.2 Harassment & Discrimination

  • Hate speech, slurs, or demeaning stereotypes targeting protected characteristics.
  • Targeted harassment, brigading, dogpiling, or invading someone’s communications repeatedly after being asked to stop.
  • Retaliation against anyone for making a good‑faith report.

3.3 Fraud, Scams & Integrity

  • Advance‑fee scams, fake bookings, chargeback abuse, or bait‑and‑switch.
  • Impersonation; misusing brand names or logos; infringing IP.
  • Scraping member data, building shadow directories, reverse engineering, or copying the Platform.

3.4 Privacy & Confidentiality

  • Sharing someone else’s personal/sensitive information without consent (real name, address, legal identity, medical status, etc.).
  • Recording private calls/chats without consent where prohibited by law.

3.5 Technical Abuse

  • Malware, phishing, credential harvesting, session hijacking, brute‑force, or bypassing access controls.
  • Mass messaging, spam, or link‑farming; using bots without written permission.

3.6 Off‑Platform Conduct Originating on PiN

  • Misconduct during collaborations arranged via PiN (e.g., boundary violations, non‑payment for agreed work, unsafe venues).

Examples

  • ❌ A member posts “no‑screening hookups” or requests “risk play without protection.”
  • ❌ An ally demands free work in exchange for “exposure,” then threatens bad‑faith reviews if refused.
  • ❌ A member scrapes the directory to build a competing list.

  • Advance Clarity: Before meeting or producing content, agree in writing on scope, boundaries, compensation, and usage rights (e.g., model releases where applicable).
  • Affirmative, Ongoing Consent: Consent must be active and can be withdrawn anytime. “No” or silence means no.
  • Safe‑Call & Venue Safety: Share itinerary details with a trusted contact; prefer professional spaces; consider chaperones where appropriate.
  • Substances & Capacity: No collaborations if anyone is intoxicated/impaired such that they cannot consent.
  • Health & Hygiene: You may set and communicate safety preferences (e.g., testing cadence), but do not misrepresent health status.

Pre‑Collab Checklist (Recommended)

  1. Verify legal age and identity via PiN or trusted process.
  2. Exchange professional references.
  3. Align on boundaries, expectations, compensation, rights, and cancellation terms.
  4. Confirm location, safety plan, and emergency contacts.
  5. Document consent (and content releases) in writing.

5) Messaging, Directories & Reviews

  • Professional Tone: Use courteous, businesslike language; no harassment or pressure.
  • No Unsolicited Explicit Content: Do not send explicit images/text without prior consent.
  • Accurate Listings: Keep profiles truthful and current. Disclose conflicts of interest or paid relationships when recommending partners.
  • Constructive Feedback: If reviews/testimonials are enabled, focus on factual experiences. No doxxing or revenge posts.

6) Partners & Allies (Vetted Vendors)

  • Creator‑Safe Standard: Partners must honor boundaries, provide clear pricing/scope, and maintain confidentiality.
  • No Kickbacks Without Disclosure: Any referral fees or affiliate arrangements must be disclosed where they could influence recommendations.
  • Data Handling: Partners may not repurpose member data outside the engagement without express consent.
  • Conflicts & Recusal: Partners must disclose material conflicts (e.g., representing both sides of a dispute) and recuse themselves if needed.

7) Events & Meetups (Virtual or In‑Person)

  • Events hosted or listed by PiN follow this Code. Organizers must publish: agenda, rules, emergency procedures, and a reporting path.
  • Zero Tolerance for harassment, unwanted touching, or intimidation. Violators may be removed immediately.
  • Photography/Recording Rules: Post clear signage and obtain consent for identifiable images; offer opt‑out zones where feasible.

8) Reporting, Support & Anti‑Retaliation

  • How to Report: Use in‑product tools or email [email protected]. Include dates, handles, screenshots, and links.
  • Emergency: If someone is at immediate risk, contact local authorities first; then notify PiN.
  • Confidentiality: We handle reports discreetly, sharing only what is necessary to investigate and act.
  • Good‑Faith Protection: You will not be penalized for good‑faith reports, even if not substantiated.
  • False Reports: Knowingly false or malicious reports violate this Code.

Appendix A – Practical Scenarios

Scenario 1: Boundary Change Mid‑Shoot A creator withdraws consent for a planned scene. Production pauses; no retaliation; parties renegotiate or end the session. Failure to stop → L4–L5.

Scenario 2: Directory Scrape A member exports profiles to build a competing list. Account terminated (L5); legal action may follow.

Scenario 3: Harassing DMs Unwanted explicit messages after “please stop.” L2–L4 depending on severity/history.

Scenario 4: Unsafe Venue A member proposes a meeting at an unfamiliar private residence with no safety plan. Other member declines and reports. PiN issues safety guidance or sanctions repeated behavior.

Scenario 5: False Reference An ally provides fabricated references. L3–L5 and partner privileges revoked.

Scenario 6: Retaliation After Report Poster targets the reporter with smear posts. L4–L5 plus content removal.

Scenario 7: Misuse of Health Claims A member falsely claims specific test results to pressure participation. L3–L5 and note in safety log.

Scenario 8: Recording Without Consent Secretly recording private calls/chats where prohibited. L4–L5 and potential law‑enforcement escalation.
